MAID RULES

Set Up:

Place a large cup in the center of the table. Shuffle the deck and deal the cards around, one at a time to each player, until all the cards have been handed out. It does not matter if players have an unequal number of cards.

Playing:

Each player looks at their hand and places all their pairs down.If a player has 3 of the same card they only place down 2. If a player puts down a maid pair at any point they add some of their drink to the centre cup. To start play the  dealer then offers their hand, spread out face down, to the player on the left, who draws one card from it. This player puts down any pair that may have been formed by the drawn card. The player then offers their own hand to the player on their left. If a player puts down a pair of maids at any point, they add some of their drink to the centre cup. Play proceeds in this way until all cards have been paired except the one remaining Maid. The player left holding the last Maid adds to the centre cup then has to drink the centre cup.
